KVV IVV Supervisor

Role Purpose

• LVI-tyomaapaallikko (KVV- ja IV-tyonjohtaja) / HVAC and Plumbing Site Manager

• The HVAC and Plumbing Site Manager leads the HVAC and plumbing works on site and also acts as the statutory KVV and IV supervisor (KVV- ja IV-tyonjohtaja) for the project. The role is accountable for delivering the works on time, within budget and in compliance with approved designs, Finnish regulations and technical standards, and is the technical and regulatory link between the project team, the Client, the General Contractor and the municipal building control authority (rakennusvalvonta), on complex, mission-critical facilities such as data centres.

Key responsibilities

• Site management: plan, coordinate and supervise the HVAC and plumbing works, manage subcontractors and site teams, and follow up schedule, costs and progress.

• Statutory role: act as the approved KVV and IV supervisor for the project in accordance with the Finnish Building Act (Rakentamislaki 751/2023).

• Compliance and quality: ensure installations comply with approved designs, legal requirements and technical standards, verify the quality of execution and promote best practices in safety, quality and efficiency.

• Authorities and stakeholders: coordinate with the building control authority and inspectors, take part in coordination meetings with the Client, the General Contractor and other stakeholders, and plan and follow up official inspections.

• Documentation and commissioning: maintain the KVV and IV inspection records, validate technical documentation, quality reports and commissioning dossiers, and support the commissioning team.

• Company systems, HSE and quality: follow internal processes, Health and Safety and Environmental rules, the Management Policy and the Integrated Management System.

Requirements

• Valid Finnish qualification certificate (patevyystodistus) for KVV and IV supervision at the demand class required for the project.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing site management or supervision.

• Experience in data centres or other critical facilities.

• Fluent English. Finnish strongly preferred.
