Embedded electronics and integration engineer

Role summary

You are a hands-on electronics engineer focused on fast build–assemble–test–integrate cycles for reference models and NRE projects. Your work shortens iteration loops and increases throughput across multiple customer deliveries, ensuring hardware modules are built and validated reliably.

What youll do

• Assemble and bring up PCBs and modules; validate electrical and optical subsystems against defined checks and acceptance criteria.Debug hardware issues efficiently (power, signals, timing, communication, sensor behavior) and document findings and fixes.

• Support integration with firmware/software teams, including effective data sharing on interfaces such as UART/SPI/I²C, timing coordination, power modes, and logging/telemetry.

• Maintain practical test setups and measurement pipelines: fixtures, rigs, scripts, checklists, build documentation, and bench discipline to ensure repeatable results and smooth transfer to manufacturing.

• Interact with manufacturing and component partners to support builds, resolve issues, and improve build quality and consistency.

• Contribute to next-generation hardware concepts through component evaluations, sensor/illumination experiments, and new integration approaches — improving delivery speed and reducing rework across NRE and customer builds.

What we expect

• Strong hands-on competence in embedded electronics: PCB/module assembly, bring-up, debugging, and systematic fault isolation.

• Comfort with lab instrumentation and measurement workflows (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters; building reliable test routines).

• Practical understanding of embedded interfaces and system integration constraints (UART/SPI/I²C, timing, power, signal integrity at a working level).

• Documentation discipline: you leave behind clear build notes, checklists, and test procedures others can repeat.

• Ability to work independently in a small team, prioritize effectively, and unblock others quickly.

• Experience with optical/IR components, cameras, illumination, or sensor systems is a plus.

• Embedded programming experience (including FPGA-adjacent and HDL work) is a plus, but not required.

What we offer

• A core role in building and validating real hardware in a deep-tech company shipping demanding sensing systems.

• Direct impact on delivery speed, reliability, and customer success; close collaboration with the founders and the core engineering team.

• Variety of work across reference designs, customer NRE builds, and next-generation prototypes.

• Competitive compensation aligned with experience; potential equity participation depending on role seniority and responsibilities.

• A culture that values technical rigor, clear communication, and practical execution over bureaucracy.

• Comprehensive health-care package, gym access

Who we are

SeeTrue Technologies is building hardware-native eye tracking for the next generation of intelligent optical systems. We develop sensing technology that combines sensors, intelligent illuminators, embedded compute, and software into compact, low-power modules that understand where and how people look — without pushing heavy processing to the host device.

The stakes are practical and immediate. Eye tracking is becoming a core sensing layer for headsets, smart glasses, microscopes, ophthalmic devices, training systems, and future AI-assisted interfaces. We are building eye tracking as a robust embedded sensing function: lower bandwidth, tight hardware–software control, better integration, and reliable performance in real products.

Our technology is based on deep expertise in computer vision, embedded systems, and optics. We work across wearable XR, medical optics, and industrial applications—markets where gaze enables better interaction and smarter AI assistance. As a deep-tech team in Finland moving from custom systems to productized modules, we hire builders: people who take ownership, work hands-on, and comfortably solve problems that dont yet have a playbook. If you want to help turn advanced sensing technology into real devices, this is the moment to join.
