Job Description – Indian Cuisine Kitchen Worker

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Kitchen Worker with experience in Indian cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Indian cooking, food preparation, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes.

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and cooking.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

• Follow food safety and kitchen hygiene regulations.

• Keep the kitchen, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

• Work efficiently as part of a kitchen team during busy service periods.

• Assist with stock handling and proper storage of food ingredients.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in an Indian kitchen or with Indian cuisine.

• Good knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, cooking techniques, and traditional dishes.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

• Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn.

• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards is an advantage.
