We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist for a long-term position in Tampere on behalf of our client.

You will work with demanding and large-scale components in a modern machine shop environment. The position offers the opportunity to utilize your machining skills in varied tasks where precision, technical expertise, and a careful approach to work are essential.

Job Responsibilities

As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

• CNC machining of large and demanding components

• Operating and setting CNC machines and changing tools

• Preparing and optimizing machining processes

• Using CNC programs and making adjustments when necessary

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions

• Measuring components and ensuring quality

• Maintaining machines and keeping the work area organized

• Cooperating with production, supervisors, and other machinists

We Expect You To Have

• Previous experience in CNC machining

• Experience in milling and/or turning

• Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Good knowledge of measurement tools and measurement techniques

• Experience with CNC controls and programming

• A precise, careful, and responsible approach to work

• Ability to work independently

• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills

Experience in machining large and heavy components is considered an advantage. Strong experience in machining and a willingness to develop your skills in more demanding machining tasks will also be taken into consideration.
